As of Wednesday 12th April 2017, Valour eSports has officially moved into the Middle East Counter-Strike:Global Offensive eSports scene with the acquisition of the Meet Your Finisher CS:GO team. Valour eSports has been in heavy search over the past few months for a CS:GO team based within the UAE whom show commitment, loyalty, passion and determination to play alongside the top teams that represent Valour eSports in other eSports titles.
Meet Your Finisher have been a well regarded name in the CS:GO community throughout the Middle East for a few years running, and in the recent months have proven why the players are some of the top contenders throughout the region. We have been following the team for a few months and have come to realise over the course of time that Meet Your Finisher are players that match all the aspects that Valour eSports and it’s players represent. The teams achievement have impressed all with their performances throughout the past couple of months. The new Valour eSports Counter-Strike:Global offensive roster consists of:
“I’m very excited to be working along side these incredibly talented players. I’ve been following them over the past couple of months. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to join us and I look forward to the future of Valour eSports CS:GO.” - Jason Mann, Co-CEO of Valour eSports We look forward to growing along side of the team and will be supporting them in all their future tournaments under the Valour eSports name. Over the course of the last couple of months we have been in search of an Overwatch Roster based in the Middle East to represent the Valour eSports brand and colours along side our Championship winning Call of Duty team. However, with eSports only picking up at the end of 2016 in the region and Overwatch becoming a growing eSport we could no longer wait for a roster to form.
At the start of February 2017, we made the decision to build an Overwatch Roster from the ground up with the help of more experienced members in the Overwatch community. This roster has been in the works since the start of our decision. Today, we announce the confirmed roster for Valour eSports Overwatch:
Bard, Captain of the newly named Valour eSports Overwatch comments on joining Valour eSports: “With our region not seeming to have too much competition, I was really interested in joining a leading organization to help better my teammates, our region and myself as a player. Valour, already having a head start with a leading CoD team, seemed to have all the right resources and infrastructure to create a successful Overwatch team, and that's why I'm so excited to get to work with them. With Insane Game knowledge from Matic to crazy Mechanics from Nario, I think our roster is pretty stacked and ready to make a name for ourselves.” Jason, Founder and Co-CEO, comments on the acquisition of the roster: “I’m extremely excited that Valour eSports is moving into PC eSports, especially going in with a roster as strong as ours. Myself and Ben(Co-CEO), have been looking to move into Overwatch for a few months. It took a lot of time to get the players together and believe that we have got a successful team who will only get better as they play more. I look forward to seeing them at their LAN debut under the Valour banner on the 10th.” The team will debut under the Blue and White banner of Valour eSports on March 10th at the ASUS Middle East LAN. They will also be competing in the PLG Nationals starting later this month. #FightWithValour |
